CE006 was derived from the Manhattan, a classic cocktail consisting of Rye Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth and Angostura Bitters. This drink was inspired by alcoholic, spiced teas made for the Christmas season. Hibiscus was used for this particular cocktail as it has a subtle tartness that complements the woodiness of whiskey.

Enjoy CE006 on the rocks for pronounced notes of hibiscus tea and basil liqueur. Alternatively, it may be enjoyed served up with a lemon twist to perceive notes of smoked peach and lemongrass.

Serving Suggestion

On The Rocks: Pour approximately 2.5 oz. of the cocktail into a Rocks Glass over ice. (Notes: Hibiscus Tea, Basil Liqueur)

Alternative Method: Pour 2.5 oz. of the cocktail into a mixing glass with ice. Stir 15–20 times to chill and dilute the cocktail. Single strain the beverage into a Nick and Nora glass. Garnish with an expressed lemon peel. (Notes: Smoked Peach, Lemongrass)
